Gift Wrapped Arrangement
It looks like a beautiful package with a bow, but
it’s simply roses lined up in an acryic picture frame. This
stunning arrangement would make a striking centerpiece, or a unique
hostess gift for holiday parties. Sure beats fruitcake.
What youll need:
An acrylic box picture frame
Red metallic tissue paper
Floral foam
Ribbon
Roses

I recommend red metallic tissue paper because it will
come in contact with wet floral foam. Regular wrapping paper
will get soggy. This metallic tissue is waterproof. (It’s similar
to cellophane paper, but opaque. You’ll find it in the same
section of the party/stationery store, though). Of course, you
don’t have to wrap the acrylic frame in paper, but if you
don’t, you will see the green floral foam through the plastic.

| |
Wrap the outside of the acrylic picture frame in the red paper.
|

|
Cut pieces of floral foam to fit inside the picture frame. Dunk
the floral foam in water, and put the foam back into the picture
frame.
|
 |
Starting at one corner and working left to right, insert roses
into the floral foam straight up and down. The depth of the picture
frame is only about an inch, so you’ll have to cut your stems
shorter than that.
|
 |
When you’ve filled the frame with roses, carefully drain
the box frame of excess water. Then tie a ribbon around the entire
arrangement. For a perfect bow, click
here. You’re done,
and now you will put FTD out of business.
